Having begun his practice in 1977, Simon is one of the world’s premiere herbal practitioners and natural therapists. Simon has written numerous award-winning textbooks and overseen clinical research in the practice of herbal medicine and safety. Since 1997, he has been Secretary of ESCOP, Europe’s leading herbal scientific network which produces all monographs on herbs as medicines, which are then accepted within European law. Simon co-founded the University Centre for complementary health in Exeter, UK as well as the first Master’s Degree program in herbal medicine in the USA, now at the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
